About the Role
The Trondheim office is looking for someone proficient in FEA simulations and experienced with Python. As a Senior FEA Engineer at Effee AS, you will play a pivotal role in developing automated workflows alongside the Head of Analytics and providing expert advice on various projects. We value extensive engineering knowledge and a willingness to spend time in both the lab and in the field, gaining hands-on understanding. You should be a dedicated problem solver, capable of delivering results and best-in-class solutions that benefit our customers. You thrive when faced with new challenges and techniques, and you enjoy sharing your findings and passion with colleagues and customers. Dependability and a structured work approach are essential. This position reports to the Head of Analytics and involves close collaboration with the CTO and the R&D department.
Qualifications
- MSc in relevant field of engineering.
- Problem solver with a holistic and practical approach
- Experience with Abaqus and/or Simufact
- Experience with programming
- Communicate in Norwegian and English
Key Responsibilities:
- Parameter development for welding and additive manufacturing, especially within arc and laser technologies.
- Numerical analysis of induction heating (electromagnetism) and heat treatment (heat transfer).
- Structural analysis towards integrity assessment of the material under high temperature repair. Fitness for service.
- Participate in material investigation and establishing correlation between process parameters and material properties.
- Develop simplified numerical methods to develop fast responses to the operation team.
